Holiday in Ireland

Choose a stay that fits your trip

Choose the base before the bedroom. Write down the two or three things you most want to do, then check how you will reach them from each possible address. A cheaper rural stay can mean extra driving, parking costs and fewer evening options.

Town, coast or countryside?

A central room works well when you want to walk to dinner or travel by public transport. A self-catering house offers a kitchen and space for a longer family stay. A rural cottage can be peaceful, but verify the actual location, access road and transport options before you commit.

Compare the complete cost

Read the full total for your dates, including cleaning, deposits, parking and any extra guest or pet charges. Compare cancellation deadlines and payment terms alongside the nightly price. Save the confirmation and the provider’s contact details.

Ask specific questions

For step-free access, ask about the route from arrival to the bedroom and bathroom, including thresholds and stairs. For a pet-friendly stay, check pet limits, unattended-pet rules and whether outdoor space is securely enclosed. For remote working, request the actual connection details; a Wi-Fi label alone says little.
